The first MARVEL Ethics Board meeting was successfully held virtually on April 28th, 2021. The purpose of the meeting was to receive the Ethics Advisory Board’s feedback and guidance on relevant privacy, security and ethical issues within the project.

The MARVEL Ethics Advisory Board is composed of three (3) external members from the industry and academia, including Privacy & Data Protection Law experts. The main task of the EB is to support the project to address any raised ethical issues regarding data protection, data privacy and ethics compliance.

The meeting started with an overview presentation of the MARVEL project by FORTH, followed by the scientific & technical view of the MARVEL Solution with a special focus on the envisioned innovations by UNS.
