Organized by TAU and ATOS, the 1^st Benchmarking Workshop of MARVEL took place remotely on January 25, 2022, with more than 30 participants from the 17 organisations of the consortium.

During the workshop, the participants aligned on the benchmarking goals of the project and presented the preliminary measurements related to the assets used for the development of the MARVEL MVP. We also took the chance to brainstorm and discuss upon a plethora of available benchmarking methodologies and resources, such as the AIBench project of the International Open Benchmark Council (BenchCouncil), that may be of use for the next phase of the MARVEL framework and its assets, be informed on how other EU funded projects benchmark their solutions and agree on next steps.
